Stipa Ichu

Jarava Ichu

Commonly known as Peruvian feathergrass, mounds of narrow hair-like bright green foliage are topped with very beautiful long shimmering silvery-white panicles during summer. Can flower quite early but sometimes later, just depends on how sunny it is. Needs sunny well drained spot, soil not too wet. I have grown this for many years and proved totally hardy for me. Likes it dry.

• Position: Full sun
• Flowering time: June - September
• Flower colour: White - Silver
• Hardiness: Hardy
• Height x Spread: 70 -  90 cm x 50 cm
