A low-growing herbaceous perennial producing an abundance of large, brilliant, fiery-orange daisy-like flowers from spring to autumn. Ideal for 
rock gardens or dry borders. Drought-tolerant plant thrives in full sun.  Apparently not like standard Gazanias (which are often treated as annuals in cold, damp climates), 'Tanager' can survive deep freezes. It handles light snow, and its deep green foliage will even take on a purplish hue during winter months. Grown from seed this year to see if this totally true.
