Winecup, Purple Poppy Mallow
Beautiful deep pink cup-shaped flowers held above greyish-green leaves. Native to the Great Plains of the United States and adjacent areas in northern Mexico. It is not a poppy at all but in the mallow family if happy forms a great clump about 20 cm high and ever spreading likes a free draining gritty spot in full sun. Very hardy with drainage.
