This is a straight species proving to be a great little Nepeta from southern Europe to Iran and Caucasus from mountain and mixed forests. Definitely likes a sunny spot. Flowers profusely from May - July with rose-purple flowers. Making neat mounds about 20 cm’s high. Very nicely scented with vibrant green foliage.
